y were injured in a gas cylin
der blast in Khattak colony on Saturday.
The blast, caused by the leakage of gas from a cylinder, occurred in the house of a perso
n identified as Hassan Noor. It resulted in injuries to five members of the family which included 70-year old Aslam Noor, 16-year old Usman, 1
2-year-old Daniyal, 17-year-old Malayka and seven year-old Inshal.
Officials for Rescue 1122 said that the injured had initially been shifted to the Lady Reading Ho
spital from where they had been referred to the Burn Ho
spital in Wah Cantt for treatment.
