LAHORE: Secretary General, Jamaat-e-Islami, Liaqat Baloch, has urged the Punjab Chief Minister to solve the problems of the young doctors on priority basis and also remove the hardships being faced by the patients in the government hospitals. He was talking to a delegation of young doctors on Saturday.
The delegation claimed that the emergencies in all government hospitals were working as usual. They said that the government was not fulfilling its promises regarding the service structure of the doctors, time scale promotions and appointments according to the specialization.
They said that the government hospitals were short of beds, medicines and other basic facilities due to which the doctors were unable to serve the patients properly.
Meanwhile, while talking to a delegation of JI Youth, Liaqat Baloch said that if politics and democratic process was devoid of principles, rules and morality, the democratic system itself would be damaged and the hidden forces would get the chance to interfere. He urged all democratic forces to unite on a national charter of eliminating electoral corruption in order to steer the county out of the present crisis.
Liaqat Baloch said that the intra party election of the JI Youth on August 20 would prove a milestone for a bright future of the youth and building their confidence.
