HANGU: Police search operations, in various parts of the to
wn, have resulted in at least 45 suspicious people being detained by officials.
According to Distri
ct Police Officer Ihsanullah, a search operation was conducted on
Monday against terrorists and criminals in the jurisdiction of the City police
station, Saddar, Doaba and Tal, in the wake of current wave of terrorism afflictin
g the country.
He said 45 suspicious people had been arrested durin
g the operation in these areas.
Arms and ammunition have also been seized from their possession.
The suspects were shifted to an undisclosed place for further interrogation.
